Mount Abora Koggelbos Naturally Fermented Chenin Blanc 2012 92+ Points

Seriously impressive and a great worthy successor to 2011 vintage, slightly oxidative, ample fruit texture to support the near bone dry character, cutting edge style, redefining Chenin scene locally, in fact quite Savennieres like.
Ideal anytime from aperitifs to being super food friendly, the lean and athletic, racy profile will see this wine develop very well in bottle for those having the will to cellar, with 5000 bottles productions only get your hand on it today, before it is too late!
At a modest and ideal 12.5% abv, it shows it is achievable to produce a full texture and flavorsome Chenin Blanc with perfect ripeness, the guys (many) out there clamoring they only get flavor at 14+abv and above are simply misleading and BS wine consumers, hoteliers and restaurateurs!!
Alcohol: ideal | 12.5 %abv
Origin: Swartland

Notes: Granny Smith apples |green lime | lemongrass | peach | spicy

Ideal drinking occasions: anytime
