and head for the Winelands for the 1st ever WAY2WINE
Trail Run & Wine Extravaganza on the outskirts of Stellenbosch on Saturday,
9 November 2013.
While the more amped
trail runners race through this new 12km circular vineyard route, the
not-so-athletes who are unlikely to get a prize for breaking a sweat, can
impress the judges with their creativity by dressing up.
Both the serious Trail
Run and the more relaxed Wine Run/Walk start and finish at Hazendal with the
route making its way through the vineyards of Kaapzicht, Mooiplaas, Fort Simon,
Goede Hoop and Groenland.
Be sure to have your
credit card handy as participants can purchase wines en route at the cellars
for collection at the finish at Hazendal. Crèche facilities at Hazendal,
offering supervision and a secure indoor play area, will be available at R20
per kid.
The Trail Run &
Wine Tasting costs R220 whilst the Trail Run without the wine tastings for more
serious participants costs R100 per person.
