With their first vintage in 2004, De Grendel have established themselves as one of South Africa’s best Sauvignon and Merlot producer with an amazing consistency, at the helm is their cellar master Charles Hopkings, the “Gentle Giant”, however one of their best kept secret offerings is their MCC Brut which since their maiden vintage in 2007, have established De Grendel as the undisputed MCC producer of the Durbanville Ward, with a string of awards confirming their pedigree as one of Cape best new wave bottle fermented sparkling wine producer.
