Nabygelegen Wellington Chenin Blanc 2011 84+ Points

Pale straw with slight green/yellow reflections.

Clean, oaky profile, intense honey infused with toasty charry note, shadowing ripe citrus, baked apple, raisin note, spicy musk, high alcohol evident as it is noticeable (14.5%), hints of vanilla, leesy complexity

Dry with dash of residual sugar, creamy, very ripe structure with low plus acidity, juicy, but somehow needs the spinal cord of natural acidity, to make the wine more exciting from a food pairings prespective, showy profile, made to impress with concentrated fruit preserves, glossy rich style, high alcohol of 14.5%, not totally integrated, drink now.
