Zandvliet Unwooded Robertson Chardonnay 2011 86 Points

Pale straw with slight green reflections.

Clean, moderate plus intensity, bright lemon, tangerine and green pineapples note, hints of stony mineral with leesy complexity, very good purity of fruit, has layers of complexity, charming.

Dry with dash of residual sugar, round with juicy citrus fruit fruit and light minerals follows through, very fresh with moderate plus acidity and moderate alcohol (13%), delicate with lots of personality, zesty finish.

Another fine Chardonnay from Robertson district.

Perfect lunchtime wine with grilled black bass
