L'Avenir MCC Brut Rose 2010 85 Points
Austere and unyielding initially, better after 14 hours, revealing bright and crunchy red fruits, layered maturity, the palate is more generous than in previous vintage with a dosage of 7.4 g/l, perhaps masking some of the phenolic richness? nevertheless a distinct and well made MCC, unusual blend of Pinotage and Chenin Blanc.
