Instead of chasing ghosts and witches this Halloween join Durbanville Hills Wines for their Chase the Sunset Trail Run on 31 October.
With the start and finish line at the cellar, the 5km and 10 km route meanders through the vineyards offering spectacular scenery along the route. Runners are encouraged to bring a head-light and those dressed in Halloween costumes stand the chance to win a prize. Spectators can enjoy a wine tasting with magnificent views of the vineyards surrounding the cellar and the vista of Table Mountain. After the run the Durbanville Hills restaurant will be open for dinner and will be serving gourmet lamb burgers with crispy bacon, mushroom duxelle, pickled cucumber, brie and beetroot pesto served with Cajun-style potato wedges. The cost is R85 per burger and includes a glass of Durbanville Hills wine, and coffee or tea.

Time: Registration from 17.00 with the trail run starting at 18:00
Distance: 5km or 10 km trail
Cost: Entry fee is R60 per runner
Wine tasting and sales will be available for spectators and runners from 17:00 until 20:00.
