Frontera Shiraz 2012 88 Points

Recently I reviewed the Cabernet Sauvignon under the same label, now it's the turn of the Shiraz, following in similar mould with bright ruby red with purple rim.

Clean, moderate plus intensity, upfront black fruits, ripe plums, mulberries, spicy core, some chunky oak character lending a toasty charry profile yet without compromising the purity of fruit.

Dry with dash residual sugar, juicy and broad, round ripe tannin with moderate acidity, fresh, delicate extract, ideal alcohol of 12.5% abv, super table friendly, enjoy with your friends with or without food, e.g your favorite steak, honest style, super bargain buy at Checkers for R 40/bottle.

Drink now until 2015+
