Villa Antinori Toscana IGT 2009 90 Points

This is a solid 90 Points red blends. Ruby red with slight garnet hue towards the rim.
Clean, ripe cassis, blackcurrant and blueberries, fairly oaky (I guess there is a fair amount of new oak in this wine?) with notes of spicy vanilla and tobacco note, considering the price of R 120/bottle, if feels more expensive than it may, harmonious aromatics.

Dry with juicy black fruits follows through, savory with moderate plus acidity, fresh with moderate tannin, good grip, yet juicy and fleshy enough, medium plus bodied with a moderate plus alcohol of 13.5% abv, smart wine indeed. Drink now until 2020.

Blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Syrah and Sangiovese

This will be the wine to paired with your thickest cut of T-Bone steak, grilled!
