Darling Cellars Bush Vine Darling Sauvignon Blanc Reserve 2011 75 Points

Almost atypical of Sauvignon blanc from this area, it does not have the intensity and textbook profile one would expect from Darling.

Pale straw with yellow reflections.

Clean, slightly reductive, possibly due to the screwcap closure, low plus intensity, herbaceous, hints of stony mineral

Dry with high acidity, freshly squeeze lime, unripe figs, crunchy, linear, moderate alcohol of 13% abv, fresh, racy, probably need time, but fruit have faded already, unless you like secondary characters in Sauvignon, then it may please.
