Journey's End The Weather Station Coastal Region Sauvignon Blanc 2011 89 Points



The name "Weather Station" is derived from the first two clones (SB11 & SB 12)of Sauvignon Blanc that were planted in South Africa, besides and old weather station.

Pale straw with yellow green reflections.

Clean, moderate plus intensity, on the riper side of the spectrum showing stone fruits character such as white peach, nectarines, ripe bell pepper and passion fruit, mineral.

Dry with dash residual sugar, high acidity,with spicy texture, grapefruit zest, juicy and broad, slight burn at the back of throat, due to the high alcohol of 14% abv, plump style, will have its followers, now until 2016
