La Vierge Collection Jezebelle Hemel-en-Arde Ridge Chardonnay 2010 83+ Points
Bright, pale straw with yellow reflections.
Clean, high intensity, ripe stony fruits, white peaches & apricots, light toasty character lending a smoky profile, flinty mineral, honey and vanilla pods, quite showy, but not overdone, borderline though!
Dry with some residual sugar, creamy and round, broad, fairly rich corn syrup on texture, medium acidity, a little more would have been perfect, delicate, moderate plus alcohol of 13.5%, long lenght. Drink now until 2017
