Arendsig Single Vineyard Robertson Cabernet Sauvignon 2011 84+ Points



Bright, dark garnet showing evolution with brown rim.

Clean, high intensity, fragrant, blackcurrant, cassis and blackberries, peppery, herbaceous typical of Cabernet, stony, subtle okaing lending spicy note, lead pencil.

Dry with some residual sugar, medium acidity, fresh, peppery note, medium plus ripe tannins, tad over extracted, concentrated structure, juicy cassis follows through, spicy core, lifted though by very high alcohol of 14.5% abv, intense, savory, hints of graphite, persistent. Benefit from aerating in a decanter for better enjoyment! Now until 2020
