La Vierge Hemel-en-Aarde Ridge Pinot Noir 2010 85+ Points
Pale cherry red with slight brown rim.
Clean, high intensity, riper side of pinot noir, lifted with notes of dark cherries and ripe strawberries, cherry pips, earthy, cedar note, layered complexity.
Dry with moderate plus acidity, fresh and crunchy, medium plus ripe tannins, juicy, delicate extraction, savoury with broad texture, however alcohol is high at 14% abv, overall well made with very good typicity, now until 2020.
