Champagne Barons de Rothschild Brut 91+ Points

60% Chardonnay primarily Grands Crus from the Cote des Blancs and 40% Pinot Noir, mainly from Verzenay, Ay, Mareuil-sur-Ay and Bouzy, in this particular cuvee of 2008 there was no Pinot Meunier blended, but did featured in 2006 and 2007 cuvee.

Bright with golden green hue, persistent perlage with light foam.

Clean, moderate plus intensity, ripe stone fruit, citrus, showing maturity with slight Sherry notes, Pinot Noir ripeness and robustness evident with subtle red fruits.

Dry, properly brut in style with a dosage of 5 g/l, moderate plus acidity, fresh and elegant with a juicy full texture, lots of personality for a Non Vintage, rich style.
Average time on lees before disgorgement is 24 months.
