Deetlefs Wine Estate

With the recent tasting of wines from the Breedekloof area and it’s sub regions such as Slanghoek and Goudini, it is crucial to highlight what is possibly the driving force winery of the area, based on their long term consistency and innovations.

Deetlefs Wine Estate the 2nd oldest wine estate in South Africa with uninterrupted ownership by the Deetlefs family since 1822, produces a broad range of wines from grapes predominantly grown in the Breedekloof district (100% for the Estate range), an area within the Breede River River Valley region.
