Champagne Lanson Rose Label Brut NV 91+ Points



A blend of 53% Pinot Noir, 32% Chardonnay and 15% Pinot Meunier, sourced from 50 to 60 different Crus disgorged in December 2010 (as per back label, Lanson are one of the few Champagne house to mentioned the disgorgement date!)

Bright, pale onion skin, coppery / bronze hue with a fine and persistent perlage.

Clean, moderate plus intensity, showing maturity with notes of cherries soaked in kirsch, ripe strawberries, Pinot dominated character, earthy mineral core, brush of oak, complex layers.

Dry, properly brut, mdeium bodied, precise with high acidity, svelte and athletic, broad texture, firm, poignant structure, moderate alcohol of 12.5% abv, slight tannic bite, high complexity, long and persistent. Now until 2020+
