Oneiric Elgin Chardonnay 2009 83 Points

Old Cape style, pronouced pale gold color with yellow reflections, premature color development.

Clean, moderate plus intensity, oaky profile, citrus, orange segment and ripe peaches, toasty, charry character with nutty caramel, honeyed, still oaky for a 3+ years old wine, might not integrate. spicy vanilla, showy style, but old fashioned.

Dry with dash residual sugar, juicy pineapples and citrus follows through, creamy, probably partial but closer to full malo, moderate plus acidity, fresh and linear with moderate alcohol of 13% abv, good lenght with subtle complexity, now until 2018.
