sound in the cool, crisp days of autumn, bring out OBiKWA Merlot and warm up
with this fruity, easy drinking red. With a different variety for every
day of the week, you are spoilt for choice with a range of pocket friendly
OBiKWA wines.
“OBiKWA Merlot is a
medium bodied wine, jam-packed with fruit flavours and spicy vanilla,” says
OBiKWA Cellarmaster, Michael Bucholz, who recommends serving this wine with a
hearty, freshly baked pork and apple pie.
Here’s a recipe that’s
as easy as pie. Simply line a muffin pan with puff pastry and fill with fried
pork sausage, bacon bits, an onion and apple mixture. Cover with a layer of
puff pastry and finish off by brushing the pies with an egg wash. Bake for
20-30 minutes until golden in colour.
Finally, settle in and
enjoy your steaming hot pies with a glass of OBiKWA Merlot and friends, or pack
up your home baked pies to snack on your next adventure.
Life is a journey
worth celebrating, so go on stick your neck out and grab a bottle of OBiKWA Merlot.
Selling at around R30 per bottle, the OBiKWA range of quality, value for money
