Christina Van Loveren Limited Release MCC 86+ Points

www.vanloveren.co.za

Clear, day bright, consistent bubbles but fairly big, pale straw with slight green rim.

Cleanm medium intensity, green lime, grapefruit, green unripe apples, intriguing flinty and limestone mineral, brush of oak, delicate touch of matchstick, subtle and restraint in profile.

Dry with with high acidity, sherbety, medium bodied, low alcohol (12%), crunchy and zesty, properly dry more akin to a zero dosage in style than a Brut, mineral, impressive structure , with a precision rarely encountered from a local MCC, yet could have benefitted from more time on lees (at least another 24 months) to "beef up" the structure, salty lemon peel, lots of energy, good lenght and fair complexity, linear profile, juvenile, will benefit from extra cellaring, from 2014 until 2020.

Blend of Robertson grown Chardonnay and Pinot Noir
