Medium clear, bright, garnet with slight brown rim.

Clean, medium plus intensity, jammy, very ripe blackcurrant, cassis, blueberry, plums guava jam, pronouced wet dark earth, raisin, oaky but well integrated, (12 months in French oak, possibly high percentage of new), cassis liqueur.

Dry, saturated dark red fruit, giving impression of sweetness, overipe and dead fruit evident, lots of sucrosity, high alcohol (14%), medium tannin and medium acidity extracted style, ripe, heavy, hard to drink / enjoy, syrupy mess, overworked, New World mimic from an inexperienced wine maker, for  lovers of Dolly Parton.

Who would have though this travestite come from Spain!, where is elegance, terroir and freshness here?? a style that could have been made anywhere in the world.
