Laborie Western Cape Cabernet Sauvignon 2010 85 Points

www.laboriewines.com

Medium clear, dark ruby red with slight purple rim.

Clean, tad reductive initially with aeration and tasted over 6 days, no sign of oxidation, reveals a medium plus intensity of ripe blackcurrant, cassis, blueberries, leafy/herbaceous edge, typical of any good Cabernet Sauvignon, but ripe, earthy, delicate oaking, light toast, spicy chocolate, complex and layered.

Dry with brush of residual sugar, full bodied high alcohol evident (14%), fresh, moderate plus acidity (6.09), juicy, crisp and clean texture, ripe blackcurrant follows through, savory, hints of black olives, medium lenght and complexity.

Now until 2018
