Charles de Cazanove Tete de Cuvee Tradition Brut 89+ Points

From a Champagne that has been around since 1811, comes this blend of 60% Pinot Noir, 30% Pinot Meunier and 10% Chardonnay, showing a pale straw with delicate fine mousse.
Clean, quite yeasty initially, with aeration reveals more yellow stone fruits, baked citrus, honey, brush of oak. good definition and typicity.

Properly Brut in style with a fairly high dosage (probably around 10+ grams sugar/liter) fresh, focus and precise with high acidity lending a crisp structure, elegant, textured with perfect alcohol of 12% abv, less yeasty on palate than nose may suggest, good lenght, a bargain at R 199, Champagne exclusive to Checkers.
