Du Toitskloof Merlot
When the air turns
crisp and the leaves brown, most of us yearn for a fuller bodied red wine. Try
the newly released 2012 Du Toitskloof Merlot which will make Autumn seem not
quite so dreary.
The wine is aged for
10 months in French oak resulting in a light smokiness that complements the
ripe mulberry and mint flavours and hint of chocolate on the aftertaste. Enjoy
this rich wine with mushroom risotto, roast beef, steak or smoked fish.
The wine is available
from leading supermarkets and wine shops and retails for around R40
per bottle.
