Constantia Glen Five 2007 90 Points
Clear, garnet with slight brown rim, showing evolution.
Clean, high intensity, toasty oak still shadowing ripe red fruits, blackcurrant, cassis and red plums, earthy and spicy. Oaky but in most probability will integrate with time!
Dry with moderate plus acidity, fresh, juicy and ripe fruit follows through with moderate plus tannins, high alcohol noticeable, full bodied, best from 2015+ until 2020+
