Fleur du Cap Unfiltered Western Cape Semillon 2011 91 Points

Pale bright with yellow green reflections.
Clean, moderate plus intensity, fragrant oak at this stage but not overpowering, shadowing ripe pears, orange and nectarines, peppery spices subtle grilled hazelnuts, sandy minerality with subtle notes of toast, burnt honey, layered complexity.

Dry with dash residual sugar lending roundness to the mouth feels, high acidity, bright and precise, crunchy, juicy texture with some leesy richness, citrus follows through, lots of personality, warming and full bodied with high alcohol of 14% abv, long lenght.
Now until 2025

Paired it with an oven roasted salt crusted angel fish, served with Stellenbosch extra virgin olive oil, and crunchy greens salad.seasoned with Murray River flake salt (available through Amoleh luxury salt collection, imported by Craig Cormack).
