Rohan Roi The Romulus Shiraz 2010 88 Points

A garagiste unfiltered wine produced by Rodger and Johan from Stellenbosch sourced Shiraz, vinified in the foothills of the Magaliesberg.

Ruby red with purple rim.
Clean, showy profile with lots of fragrant oak, probably a high level of new barrels, ripe plums, cassis and hints of blackcurrant, stony, earthy with cedar, vanilla and coconut note.

Dry with dash residual sugar, moderate acidity, fresh, plush tannins, savory, concentrated profile, rich and warming with high alcohol of 14.2, technically well made, embryonic, need time to settle, best revisited in 2016 should last until 2022+
