Le Riche Stellenbosch Cabernet Sauvignon 2007 85 Points

Le Riche Stellenbosch Cabernet Sauvignon 2007 85 Points

Clear, bright, cherry red with mahogany rim, medium plus concentration and medium plus viscosity, no evidence of gas or sediment.
Clean, medium plus intensity with ripe blackcurrant, cassis and sour cherries fruit, textbook Stellenbosch Cabernet with tobacco, earthy fragrant oak, but well in balance.

Dry, medium acidity, medium plus alcohol, medium tannin, new flavours of savoury red fruits, black olives paste spicy smoky oak, with some eucaplyptus note, medium lenght and medium complexity, now until 2019.

Consistently one of South Africa very top Cabernet Sauvignon, this is the "entry level" and then there is the Reserve range, both excellent and this particular bottling is very well price and excellent for listing in a dining environment.

If served under South African climatic condition, poured at 14 degrees celsius served with a grilled sirloin with mushroom and green peppercorn sauce
