Clear, bright, dark cherry red with garnet evolution towards the rim, high concentration and high viscosity.

Clean, high intensity, Southern Rhone profiling, upfront blackberries, ripe plums, blueberries, toasty dark chocolate ganache, complex earthy profile with hints of cedary / graphitey oak character, supportive rather than dominant, spicy black pepper, Indian spice shop, leesy complexity, fragrant lavender note, excellent purity of fruit.

Dry with medium plus acidity, sappy freshness, airy style, delicate extraction, more Syrah than Shiraz on texture, savory black olives, pure, crunchy, ripe medium tannins, juicy delicate fruit, mild spices, alcohol is high (14%) with slight chest burn, otherwise very characterful and charming. Now until 2017.

A Debio Certified Organically grown Shiraz, sourced across the Coastal Region, from South Africa's only Biodymanic certified winery, no pesticides, artificial fertilisers were use in the making of this wine, resulting in fewer CO2 and less harm to the environment.
