THANK DAD FOR LEADING THE WAY WITH THREE SHIPS

www.threeshipswhisky.co.za

Whether your dad is the hero you’ve always looked up to, a mentor or lifelong friend, the gift of having a father deserves to be celebrated. Make this Father’s Day one to remember and reward him with the acclaimed Three Ships Bourbon Cask Finish whisky.

This whisky is truly one of its kind; a 100% South African blend and the country’s first whisky consisting of both malt and grain components distilled and matured here. It was originally launched in 2005 and has since become known for its distinctive taste and achievements at some of the world’s top international competitions, including the annual World Whisky Awards hosted by Whisky Magazine and the International Wine and Spirit Competition (IWSC).

“Considering the relatively short time the whisky spends in the bourbon casks, we are every time amazed by just how much flavour gets extracted,” says master distiller Andy Watts. After an initial maturation of three years the final blend is matured for a further six months in first-fill bourbon casks, rounding off the whisky’s golden hue and unique palate.

The range of Three Ships whiskies are produced at The James Sedgwick Distillery in Wellington. Since the original launch of the Three Ships brand over three decades ago the distillery has undergone several upgrades which has transformed it into a state-of-the-art facility, the only of its kind in Africa.

Three Ships Bourbon Cask Finish is available from leading liquor outlets with or without a gift-tin for around R115.
