2010 Doluca Villa Klasik 59 Points

Ruby red with purple rim. Stewed dark red fruit, raisin, overipe character, traces of brettanomyces evident.

Dry with some residual sugar, jammy, some spritz on texture, fruit / tannins drying out, rich, leathery, extracted style! with very high alcohol (14.5%), fresh though but lacking precision, spicy sour cherries.

Red blend made in Eastern Anotolia, Aegean, Turkey from indigenous variety Okuzgozu and Alicante as well as Carignan.

The wine was marked down because of traces of brettanomyces, which will only grow with time! if it was not for that spoilage, it is an acceptable commercial wine with a ratingof 71 points.
