Klein Constantia Estate Perdeblokke Constantia Sauvignon Blanc 2010 91 Points

Back to natural cork closure the 2010 vintage.

Clear, day bright, pale straw with watery white rim.

Clean, medium plus intensity, ripe, cool restraint more Loire /Sancerre than New World opulence, pure, lime, menthol freshness, hints of honey, better and more complex aromatics than 2009.

Dry with high acidity, crunchy, pebbly minerality, precise structure with some phenolic richness, that forbids higher ratings.

Concentrated and honeyed mid palate, rich and plump, with lots of energy for now until 2022+
