56 Hundred Western Cape Cabernet Sauvignon 2012 77 Points
Ruby with purple rim.
Clean, reductive character probably due to the screwcap closure, with aeration and 24 hours later, shows boiled sweets, ripe red berries, raspberries, hints of herbal character and earth, tutti fruity, faintest hints of oak chips spiciness/dustiness.
Dry with residual sugar, fresh, juicy, delicate, soft textured, low tannins, medium plus alcohol (13.5%), good purity of fruit, uncomplicated, for casual quaffing.
Now until 2016
