Calling all Pinot Noir enthusiasts!
Book now for the first ever Hemel-en-Aarde Winegrowers Pinot Noir Celebration, jointly hosted by
the Pinot Noir producers of the three Hemel-en-Aarde ward, i.e Hemel-en-Aarde
Valley, Upper Hemel-en-Aarde and Hemel-en-Aarde Ridge.
A maiden event, highlighting South Africa’s most consistent and firmly
established, Pinot Noir ward with joint tasting of the area’s Pinot noirs
taking place at Braemar on Hamilton Russell Vineyards on the Friday at 11:30 followed
by a red Burgundy tasting (hosted by acclaimed author and Burgundy specialist,
Remington Norman) and Pinot noir dinner at a spectacular new venue in the
Hemel-en-Aarde Valley, Bona Dea Estate.
This dinner will be prepared around Pinot noir by top South Africa’s top
chefs – Bertus Basson and George Jardin.
The Friday’s Pinot noir tasting will be the most comprehensive tasting
of Pinot noirs between the three ward’s of the Hemel-en-Aarde area ever held.
A series of individual events will be held on the Saturday on the
properties in the Hemel-en-Aarde area. Numbers for each event are limited so
book early to avoid disappointment.

& Matching Canapés
A chance to taste the individual vineyard bottlings
1pm Hamilton Russell Vineyards, Hemel-en-Aarde Valley
A tasting of selected vintages of Hamilton Russell
Vineyards Pinot noir from the 80’s, 90’s, 00’s and 10’s finishing with the 7
components of the 2013 vintage.
Lunch will be served on the loggia. Venue, Braemar House on Hamilton
Russell Vineyards. Numbers limited to 20 people.
3pm Sumaridge Estate, Upper Hemel en Aarde Valley: Pinot on a
platter
A flight of 6 vintages, accompanied by alfresco platters
5pm Creation, Hemel-en-Aarde Ridge
Canapé pairing, Creation Cellar
5pm Domaine des Dieux, Hemel-en-Aarde Ridge

free tasting for ticket holders.
