Domaine de Chevalier Blanc 2008 94 Points

Sauvignon Blanc driven blend at 85% with 15% Semillon, it is one of the most consistent and greatest dry white wine in the world, in fact it is a “Classified Cru Classe de Graves in 1959”
Delicately pure with citrus medley. Citric, precise and textured, honeyed mid palate showing hints of evolution, yet well calibrated with a chiselled freshness, so much energy going there.
Could there be a South African Sauvignon Blanc & Semillon blend that can stand up to Domaine de Chevalier aura? I reckoned yes, without a doubt, watch this space
