Simonsig triumphs with four Gold Medals at Concours Mondial de Bruxelles

Simonsig Estate has swept the board as the top South African Gold scorer with a cache of four gold medals at the 20th Concours Mondial de Bruxelles.

Showing the versatility of this landmark, family owned estate, the Simonsig Gold medallists are two red and two white wines: Simonsig's Cape Blend Frans Malan 2010, Redhill Pinotage 2011, Chenin Avec Chêne 2012 and Chardonnay 2013. The total medal tally also included two Silver Medals awarded to Simonsig Merindol Syrah 2011 and Mr Borio’s Shiraz 2011.

More than 8 000 wines from 41 wine producing countries competed in the Concours Mondial de Bruxelles this year.
