Lace by Almenkerk Vineyard Blend 2011 89 Points

Judicious blend of Merlot, Shiraz, Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc, with an upbringing of 23 months in French barriques, showcasing a bright and savory profile with tangy and mouth watering acidity perfect for tapas style offerings, delicate with chalky tannins, best served aerated, this will gain in velocity as time spent in bottle, I reckoned the natural acidity gave the wine a solid structure to evolved for at least another 6 to 8 years, good now, but should really start to unfold from 2016+, great value.
