Seven Springs Vineyards Overberg Chardonnay 2010 88 Points

Clear, pale straw with yellow green reflections
Clean, medium intensity, yellow citrus, melon, delicately ripe stone fruits such as peaches, some minerality, light toast, vanilla and barley, oaking is tad showy, need time to integrate.
Dry with good fruit concentration, high alcohol (13.88% abv) light oak tannins, fruit follows through with hints of pineapples and cream, high acidity lending very fine precision, fresh and elegant, toasty oak.
A promising Chardonnay to follow, I reckoned this 2010 will start showing well from winter 2014, may be kept up to 2016+
