Concha Y Toro Vineyard Selection Terrunyo DO Casablanca Valley Sauvignon Blanc 2009 92Points

From the El triangulo vineyard, known as Block 28, from a vineyard planted in 1992 at 320 meters above sea level
Pale straw with light yellow reflections, fine co2 bubbles.
Clean, high intensity, green lime, citrus, passion fruit, kiwi and gooseberry, intense almost Silex minerality, grassy and peppery, complex and layered with passion fruit flowers and crushed blackcurrant leaves.
Dry with high acidity, moderate plus alcohol (13.5% abv) green lime, passion fruit and kiwi follows through, spicy white pepper, impressive minerality, the phenolic  richness giving an impression of light tannin structure! No wood?
A racy and energetic Sauvignon that will develop over the next 6 to 8 years, hard to resist now, may be enjoyed until 2019.
