Undisclosed red blend, which I suspect to be Shiraz base
with possibly a high predominance of other Rhone varieties, possibly dollop of
Pinotage, Cabernet and Tinta? Showing garnet with slight brown rim, quite translucent.
Clean, high intensity, very ripe dark red fruits with
equally high alcohol noticeable, jammy with some raisin note, spicy and oaky and showy.
Dry with some residual sugar, Christmas fruitcake note, rich
and vibrant, savory mid palate, leathery richness, powerful aftertaste, plush
tannins, but alcohol is still noticeable, slight bitterness on aftertaste distract.
A style and blend that shows potential, there were some exciting trait!
Now until 2020
