Bright, cherry / plum red with pale white rim, slight brown reflections.
Clean, moderate intensity, dusty oak, charry, tar, toasty character, probably oak chips overshadowing plums, cherries and dark red fruit, tutti fruity and one dimensional aromatics, alcohol burn distract.
Dry with some residual sugar lending a plush, almost too soft texture! medium acidity not fully integrated, high alcohol (14% abv), full bodied, slight leafy character on aftertaste, now until 2013.
