From 12 years old vineyard, sparsely planted at 2700/2800
vines per hectare, yielding a mere 4 tons / 3000 bottles. Average of 15 months
in oak, only 5% new barrels.
Evolved ruby red with garnet hue and brown towards the rim,
typical of Nebbiolo, but on a slightly darker side.
Clean, ripe plums, blackcurrant, cassis, red rose petals, nutty,
almond pips, spicy black olives, tar note, impressive purity of fruit.
Dry with plush ripe tannins, high alcohol of just over 14%
abv, elegant structure, linear with crunchy cherries note, fresh, graphite mineral,
persistent.
