TWO OCEANS SAVVY ABOUT SAUVIGNON BLANC

Two Oceans Sauvignon Blanc

Two Oceans Sauvignon Blanc, a best-seller in South Africa, Canada and many other parts of the world, is proving quite the charmer when it comes to the critics.
The 2012 vintage recently earned a score of 90 at the recent World Value Wine Challenge, billed as the most comprehensive show in the US for wines retailing at $20 and under.
The crisp and tangy refresher made such an impression, it also secured the title of Best South African Sauvignon Blanc on the show, a gold medal and a Best Buy rating.
Not the only Two Oceans in the critical spotlight, the 2010 Cabernet Sauvignon/Merlot blend brought home a Best Buy recommendation and a silver medal, while the 2010 Shiraz took silver.
The brand also wowed the judges in Germany. The 2012 Two Oceans Shiraz Rosé won gold at Mundus Vini and the 2012 Cabernet Sauvignon/Merlot earned silver at the Berliner Wein Trophy show.
Locally the wines sell for around R35.
