Dark plums, blackberry, American oak evident, showy almost Jack Daniels character,cedar wood and graphite, extracted and quite rich in texture, not much fruit, firm tannins, very high alcohol of 15.67% abv, evident, rich showy style, could do with more freshness and precision.
The wine spent 3 years in a single 225 litre new French oak.
